Parade remnant

I was out of town this past weekend, and so I missed the annual “practice walk” of the Jefferson City Buzzards.  Not sure what I’m talking about?  Then it’s worth it to click here.  And if you want more, click here.

Alas, I missed it all this time.  But when I parked the car yesterday, I saw this lone flower in the street in front of the house.  I took its picture, badly and blurrily, with my phone.  I didn’t have the heart to pick it up – it seemed to belong there – a remnant of a comical afternoon walk by a very very old marching club.

I read all three posts. I completely love this. I would like to see the practice walk next year, but it seems like it may be hard to pin down a late. Let us know if you find out in advance.

Glad you enjoyed! It’s usually on a Sunday afternoon, usually about three Sundays (or two) before the Sunday before Mardi Gras. We’re often surprised!
