Pasta fresca. Tomatoes and squash from the farmers’ market, basil from our yard. Yum.
It’s so easy to make. Prepare your favorite pasta. These are whole wheat shells. Steam some squash. Dice tomatoes (about one per person) and mix with a splash of olive oil, crushed garlic, and fresh chopped basil, plus some salt and pepper. Pour the fresca sauce over the hot pasta. Fresh and delicious!
