Summer treat #1

These gorgeous Queen of the Night flowers each only last one night.  They smell heavenly.  Last night I cut this one and brought it in and put it by my bedside so I could enjoy it all night. Delicious!

  1. Dama de Noche here, I had one in my garden when we first moved in but it was entwined with a HUGE weed that I had to get rid of and I couldn’t same the Dama de Noche. :( My neighbour gave me one later but it didn’t take so I guess I’m destined not to have them. Beautiful scent too.

Amazing that these are just growing outside where you could pick one!! Here we grown one plant in a pot and cross our fingers to see it bloom once a year. They are such beautiful blossoms.

Ours is in a pot by our outdoor clawfoot tub, so sometimes we’ll take a bath out there when one is blooming. There are more buds so more are on the way – the trick is not to miss them! :)

  5. Dang, I can almost smell it through my screen……
