Jazz Fest memories

I know there are a bunch of you who love Jazz Fest and don’t get to visit as often as you’d like, and while I was on a bit of a blog-cation during the period of the Jazz Festival, I was still shooting photos.  So even thought it’s been nearly a month, I thought I’d share a little slide show of all the fun.  The weather was beautiful for all seven days (I attended three) and the music, food, crafts and people were fantastic as always.  I’m going to let the pictures do the talking – note that Jon Stamos sat in as the drummer for the Beach Boys and that they sounded great, as did Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt and Al Green.  And our local folks like Sonny Landreth, Dr. John and Trombone Shorty didn’t disappoint either. And everyone sat in with everyone else, so you never knew who might appear on stage! Enjoy the pics!
